This connects to how Elli felt when she first arrived to the United States. Elli was facing a hard time of forgeting her father because her father was a loving person she gotted what she wanted most of the time, but when her father died in war things changed. Elli was excited, but sad at the time cause Elli was in America in New York city watching all the buildings, but Elli realized after a while she wasnt with her dad witch made her depressed.

Elli in my point of view I think she is feeling very excited, but sad cause every time she gets excited she thinks she with her dad when she not. Elli says "Daddy daddy look" or " Did you see that dad" when her dad isn't there. when she gets excited she turnes into an other mood when she remembers her dad.

"Who told that you need a passport to go to Brooklyn"- Bubi

Bubi when he was told that you needed a passport to enter brooklyn he was shoked cause they didnt have any passports his mom Elli nobody. Bubi was very nurvuse cause he thought he had to stay in "Ellis Island" for a long time.

Bubi in my point of view is very protective very out going. Cause he worries about almost everything. For example, the passport thing he thought we needed a passport when we didnt need one.
